HUNGERFORD ARCADE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION POPPY APPEAL

ROYAL BRITISH LEGION
POPPY APPEAL

Tomorrow, Sunday, 3rd November, Hungerford Arcade will be holding a Military Vehicle event to raise money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.  There will be approximantely 11 WWII military vehicles including a very rare Bedford tanker, Scout car, Willis Jeeps, Landrover and more.  They will be arriving outside the Arcade at approximately 9.00 a.m. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the owners of these wonderful vehicles and their clubs, the Military Vehicle Trust and the Kennet Valley Military Vehicle Trust  for agreeing to bring their fabulous vehicles along for a second year in support of this wonderful appeal.  You can talk to the owners and even sit inside the vehicles and have your photograph taken. Some of them will also be here on Remembrance Sunday, 10th November.

Please do come along and support the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal who desperately need funds to help all our UK fallen and injured forces personnel and their families, past and present, as they have done since 1921.   While you are there look at our Remembrance window, it will stir up memories in some and imagination in others.
Rita
